Meet the teacher

Hello.  My name is Mrs. Michelle Kiehl and I have been teaching at the St. Marys Area High School since 2007.  I am a Johnsonburg Area High School graduate Class of '97.    I earned my Bachelors degree in Health and Physical Education from Slippery Rock University in 2001.  I then continued my education and earned my Masters degree in Exercise Science and Physical Education at McDaniel College in Westminster, MD.  I started my teaching career in 2002 at Century High School in Carroll County, MD.  After a desire to move closer to my family, I relocated back to PA in 2007 when I started teaching at St. Marys.  

 

Over the years I have had the privilege to not only teach but also coach JV Softball, JV Volleyball, and also be an Assistant Track and Field Coach.  I have also served as the Wellness Coordinator for the St. Marys School District for several years.

 

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I also enjoy keeping active while exercising with my fur babies (Gunner and Zoey).
