I have been the Vision Support/Orientation & Mobility Specialist for SMASD for the past 16 years, graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 1999 with a Master's Degree in Special Education (Vision).

After earning my Bachelor's degree from IUP and a Master's in Elementary Education from Gannon University I taught 7th and 8th grade in several Elk County schools over an 18-year period.

My office is located at St. Mary's Area High School but I am an itinerant teacher traveling between all district schools to serve blind and visually-impaired students.  For the 2016-17 school year, I have students in grades 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12.
